Julie Winlock travels to the heart of the Peruvian rain forest, on a mission to save Manu River Research Station. The station's director, wildlife biologist Maxwell Stuart, doesn't see the need to make changes to the facility, but gradually the two fall for each other. A crisis will test Max's trust in Julie, and force her to make the most difficult decision of her life.
