Description
Disc 1: Doomsday 2012: the End of Days: Doomsday is foretold in the Mayan calendar, the Chinese oracle of the I Ching and an Internet-based prophetic software program. Mayan doomsday prophecy: The Maya were legendary astronomers and timekeepers. Their calendar is more accurate than our own. They tracked stars and planets and assigned great meaning to astronomical phenomena and made the 2012 doomsday prophecy prediction.
Description
Disc 2: Doomsday tech: Doomsday threats range from very real to controversial to futuristic. Despite the Cold War's end, we live under the shadow of nuclear weapons, arms races, and accidental launches. More doomsday tech: Examines more threats, both natural and manmade, that may endanger civilization. From the far reaches of space to tiny viruses, bioterrorism and cyberterrorism, doomsday sources are many.
