Description
La trama de la historia se desarrolla principalmente entre los años 1521 y 1531 y esta centrada casi en su totalidad en la persona de Topiltzin, hijo directo del emperador Moctezuma y quien se dedica al oficio de escribano. Como parte de la cultura mexica de entonces, Topiltzin también es un ferviente adorador de la diosa Tonantzin o diosa madre, situación que lo llevará poco mas tarde a enfrentarse a los españoles.
Description
Mexico, 1521. The Spanish army of Hernando Cortés has swept through the New World forcing their religious beliefs on the brave Aztec people. A skillful Aztec scribe, who survived the Massacre of the Temple in 1520, spends years trying to preserve the rites and customs of his people. The Spanish army would conquer their land, but not the soul of the Aztec people.
